It was a Friday and I was having an “off day”. Every endeavor I undertook seemed to end with less than desirable results. So when lunch time came around I wasn’t even in the mood. 49 Years of Star Trek and Its Food
It’s hard to believe Star Trek aired 49 years ago today. To put that in perspective, gas cost about $.32 a gallon. It was a turbulent time in the United States: Peace protests against the Vietnam War were happening all over the country while a little startup, NASA, was racing the Russians to the moon. Amidst all this, Gene Roddenberry managed to write Star Trek.
